Faith
This image is representative of humanity standing in the muck and mire of life. We are rooted in this world while we lift our faces to a mysterious God of love and mercy. The three blocks are Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The sun is the mysterious culmination of all three that we look to for hope and strength. The red is the blood of those who have come before us and provide a pathway. Such as Moses, Ruth, Stephen, Mary, James, Patricia and Loren.
"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." Hebrews 11:1

Searching
Searching is about the journey to figure out who we are and the many paths that we need to go through to figure that out. How life can feel like wandering and being lost some times. That the many iterations of ourselves can be found in unexpected places.

Hope
The two larger objects are pressing upon the smaller object that is working to break free. The pressure and the struggle are needed to create the beauty represented in the gold circles. The inner circle is solid but the one surrounding it is murky. Representing that hope is not without doubt. Hope takes courage to push forward when things feel overwhelming and dark.
"We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope." Martin Luther King, Jr.
